The Llandudno CD ROM contains every resource that you need* to teach the QCA Geography Unit 13 (Llandudno—A contrasting UK Locality), covering all of the recommended fieldwork and mapping skills. It includes lesson plans, whiteboard lesson presentations, seven interactive computer activities and a total of 28 differentiated activities. Click on the options on the left for further information.
THE CD ROM includes all of the following: · Six fully resourced lessons, including 15 differentiated worksheets, resources for display, and a selection of 28 differentiated activities to support learning for all pupils · Seven computer based activities for pupils, including a computer atlas, virtual tour of Llandudno, land use and traffic surveys, and multi-choice questions about the history of Llandudno · Full audio support - pupils can have all instructions read out to them · Full access built in for pupils using switch devices to access the computer · Resource sheets including aerial photographs, Ordnance Survey map extracts, street maps and 16 A4 colour images suitable for display · Presentations for each lesson for stimulating whole class lesson introductions on a whiteboard, designed to be appropriate for all learning styles; including photographs, videos and brainstorming activities · Over 25 minutes of video footage · 16 web-links for further research · Picture Library of over 60 images of Llandudno, including aerial photographs and an Ordnance Survey map
